Người thân gốc Canada của Vua Richard III, có ADN giúp xác định danh tính của vua Anh, cho rằng di hài của ông này nên được chôn tại Leicester.

Ông Michael Ibsen, hiện sống tại Anh, đã đưa ra ý kiến trên sau khi một tòa án tại London ra phán quyết cho phép Liên minh Plantagenet tiếp tục theo đuổi đề xuất về vị trí an táng mới cho thi hài của nhà vua xấu số, theo Postmedia News.

Liên minh, bao gồm 15 người tuyên bố có quan hệ họ hàng với Vua Richard, muốn chôn ông này tại York, ở miền bắc nước Anh.

Di hài của vị vua đã được khai quật tại bãi đậu xe ở Leicester, vốn được xây lên nền tu viện là nơi chôn cất thi hài Richard III.

Nhờ vào gene ti thể của Ibsen, vốn là hậu duệ của người chị Vua Richard là Anne xứ York, các chuyên gia của Đại học Leicester mới xác định được danh tính của hài cốt nằm ở bãi xe.

Sau khi biết được hài cốt trên là của Vua Richard III, số danh sách họ hàng của ông này phải lên đến hàng ngàn người, bao gồm Nữ hoàng Elizabeth II.

Tuy nhiên, hoàng tộc hiện tại của Anh không có ý kiến về địa điểm chôn cất mới của Vua Richard III.

To prevent partisan bias, the pictures, names, and states of the eight women attorneys general are listed but not their political affiliations. "Hopefully, the voters will select he most attractive woman, Republican or Democrat," Viguerie said.

He stated that, if no one receives a majority, he will conduct a runoff poll of the women who finish in the top two in votes.

April 7 Event at Arizona Biltmore to Highlight Need for Greater Civics Education to Prepare Students to Be Active and Responsible Citizens
